Kody E. Klase, age 16, of Belmont, passed away very unexpectedly on Sunday, September 26, 2010. He was a sophomore at Rockford High School and enjoyed attending the Youth Group at Resurrection Life Church in Rockford. Kody is survived by his loving parents, Dean and Cheryl; brother, Wayne Miller; sister, Amanda Mendez; and niece, Cherish Mendez; aunts, Pam (Charlie) Neihardt and Dana Moore; and uncle, Jeff (Rhonda) Moore. The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ for Kody will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Simon officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the Pederson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the needs of the family.
